Everything you need to know about finding available campsites, cancellation scans, AgentBook, and reservations at national and state parks.
Arvie does three things no other service does in one place:
Start for free. No credit card required to search. To run a cancellation scan you'll need Arvie Pro or a 5-Scan Bundle.
You'll need a free Arvie account to see real-time campsite availability and to book available sites. It takes under a minute and no card is needed. To run a cancellation scan at a sold-out campground you'll need Arvie Pro, which is free for 3 days, or a one-time 5-Scan Bundle.
Arvie covers 4,700+ campgrounds and 269,000+ campsites across national and state parks in the United States and Canada. We connect to all major booking systems:
All of these are searchable in one place on Arvie, no need to check each site individually.
A dedicated iOS and Android app is coming soon. In the meantime, Arvie works fully in your mobile browser. Search, book, and manage your cancellation scans from any device.
Search any park, campground or region on Arvie. You'll see real-time availability across every campground in the area: what's open, what's sold out, and what you can scan for. If sites are available, book directly through Arvie. Your reservation is placed in your own park account: Recreation.gov, ReserveCalifornia, ReserveFlorida or whichever system the campground uses.
Booking an available campsite carries no added Arvie fees. You pay only the campground's standard rate.
Yes. Arvie shows real-time availability for current openings, including last-minute and holiday weekends. If your dates are sold out, start a cancellation scan with your free 3-day Arvie Pro trial. The system checks every 30 to 60 seconds, day and night.
Yes. Filter by length, hookups, pull-through, and site type so you only see campsites that fit your setup, whether you camp in a tent, trailer, or RV. This applies to both availability searches and cancellation scans, so AgentBook only matches compatible sites.
A cancellation scan watches a sold-out campground for openings on your behalf. Campsite reservations get cancelled every day. People's plans change, and when they cancel, that site becomes available again, often for just seconds before someone else books it.
Arvie checks for those openings and either alerts you so you can book yourself (Alert Me) or has live agents book the spot for you (AgentBook). Running a scan requires Arvie Pro or a 5-Scan Bundle.
You can start your first scan free by starting a 3-day Arvie Pro trial. It's $0 today, a card is required, and you can cancel anytime. After the trial, Pro is $74.50 for the year. If you'd rather not subscribe, a one-time 5-Scan Bundle is $29. There are no per-scan or pay-on-success fees on either.
A one-time $29 option for campers who don't want a subscription. It gives you 5 scans at once at the same speed and odds as Pro, each running up to 90 days. The scans are used up once spent and don't renew. Most campers are better off on Pro, which gives 20 reusable scans, scanning up to 12 months out, and real human support.
Both are ways to handle an opening, and you choose between them when you set up a scan. There's no price difference.
Either way you'll need Arvie Pro or a 5-Scan Bundle to run the scan.
Every 30 to 60 seconds, day and night, 24/7/365. That's the same speed on Arvie Pro and on the 5-Scan Bundle.
Arvie Pro: up to 20 active scans at once, reusable all year. The 5-Scan Bundle: 5 scans at once, each running up to 90 days, and they're used up once spent. Users running 5+ scans book at nearly 4x the rate of single-scan users.
Flexible dates scans let you set a date range instead of exact dates. Arvie scans for any available cancellation within that window. This increases your chances significantly by covering multiple trip options at once. Scans for trips between 2-5 nights have the highest success rates.
Start an AgentBook scan on any sold-out campground. The Arvie system checks for cancellations every 30 to 60 seconds. When a matching site opens, live agents complete the booking in your name using your saved park credentials, and you get a confirmation. AgentBook has a 65% win rate because it skips the alert delay entirely.
There's no separate AgentBook fee. It's included with Arvie Pro, free for 3 days and then $74.50 a year, or with a one-time $29 5-Scan Bundle. On Pro you also pay $0 high-demand booking fees. You always pay the campground's own rate directly, in your own park account.
AgentBook has a 65% win rate at sold-out national and state parks, and gives you 22x better odds than services that just send you an alert. Your odds improve further if you:
Yes, and this is where AgentBook is most valuable. Last-minute camping reservations and holiday weekend cancellations at popular national and state parks disappear in literal seconds. There is no realistic way to compete manually. The Arvie system checks around the clock and live agents book faster than any human could.
Other alert services notify you when a site opens, then the booking is on you. Arvie's AgentBook skips the notification entirely and goes straight to booking. The difference is significant: the most in-demand sites at Recreation.gov, ReserveCalifornia and other systems are re-booked within seconds of opening.
If you received an alert from another service, the site was likely already gone before you could act. AgentBook removes that bottleneck completely.
Always. When Arvie books a site for you, whether an available site or a cancellation, it uses your credentials on the park's own booking system. The reservation appears in your account exactly as if you booked it yourself. No middleman. No Arvie reservation number. Your name, your account, your booking.
This applies to all systems: Recreation.gov, ReserveCalifornia, California State Parks, ReserveFlorida, Florida State Parks, ReserveAmerica and more.
Yes. Because the reservation is in your name in your park account, you have full control. Modify or cancel directly through the campground's own system: Recreation.gov, ReserveCalifornia, ReserveFlorida, or whichever platform was used. Standard park cancellation policies apply. You can also email our support team and we'll help.
Your Arvie profile stores your park account credentials and booking preferences securely. Arvie agents need these to book campsite cancellations for you instantly. There's no time to ask when a site opens at 3 AM. The more complete your profile, the faster and more accurately AgentBook can act on your behalf.
Contact our team directly. We're real people and we respond fast. Email [email protected] or call/text (320) 331-8899. Arvie Pro members get real human support, 24/7.
Arvie Pro is an annual subscription, free for your first 3 days. It includes live agents booking cancellations for you in your own park account, 20 cancellation scans at once that are reusable all year, scans every 30 to 60 seconds day and night, and $0 scan fees and $0 high-demand booking fees. Scans run up to 12 months out, you can scan specific campsites, and you get real human support 24/7.
Arvie Pro is free for your first 3 days. You get everything Pro includes from the moment you start, so your scans run at full speed straight away. It's $0 today, a card is required to start, and you can cancel anytime. After 3 days it's $74.50 for the year.
If you keep Pro, your scans carry on uninterrupted and you're billed $74.50 for the year. If you cancel before the trial ends, your scans stop when it does.
Free for 3 days, $0 today. After that it's $74.50 for the year, about $6.21 a month, a limited 50% off the regular $149. A card is required to start the trial and you can cancel anytime.
Land one sold-out booking and Pro has paid for itself. If you camp more than once or twice a year at popular parks, Pro gives you 20 scans at once instead of 5, reusable all year instead of used up once, scanning up to 12 months ahead, and real human support. The 5-Scan Bundle is there if you only need a single trip covered.
Email [email protected] and the team will take care of it. You can cancel anytime.
Yes. Payments are secured by Stripe and PCI Vault. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest payment security certification available.
Arvie needs your Recreation.gov, ReserveCalifornia, ReserveFlorida or other park account login to book campsites in your name. This is what makes the reservation yours. It appears in your account, not Arvie's. Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely. They are only used to complete bookings on your behalf when you have an active AgentBook scan.
Email [email protected] or call/text (320) 331-8899. We respond same day or next business morning. Arvie Pro members get real human support, 24/7.
